Sure feels good to be back!!

Reporting from the newly formed Lucas Oil Carter Motorsport/Andersen Racing coalition, this is Jan Broersma again. It has been a while since I last posted on our website, but we sure haven't been sitting passively in our rocking chairs over winter.

It has been a rather tumultuous period for Carter Motorsport, since Andy made the move to the seat at Andersen Racing. Team wise this meant a lot for the '06 Supercrew. Instead of running our own team on our own car, which initially was the plan for 2007, or like the 2006 situation running our own team on a hired car.
The seat change Andy decided to make in January was not really unexpected, but did throw a wrench in the 2007 season for most of the well-known crew which has been backing Andy for years and years.

People I got to know during the 2006 season, gentlemen you know who you are...
I want to use this opportunity, to say thanks for the good times we had on and off track, getting to and from the track in our not-so-great handling rental cars. We sure had a tough season, but we fought for what we were worth. It certainly was good to be brothers in arms with you lot!!

With a new season about to kick off, I got a call couple of weeks back from Andy. After deliberating with Karsten and Per Andersen there was room in the new team for just one more person.
To my delight Andy chose to ask me, because of the good relationship we have ever since we started communicating back in 2005.
Needless to say, I did not hesitate too long to accept the offer. And I'm proud to be mentioned, as crewmember for the '07 season.

Before we start our season, the Lucas Oil Top Fuel cars and a delegation of the team will be attending a couple of shows. For all the UK fans this will be at the Spring Speed Festival at Shakespeare County Raceway from the 5th till 7th of May. For all our "new" Danish fans this will be at the Fast & Furious show 27th till 29th of April at the Messecenter in Frederica, Denmark.
