The latest stop on the Carter Motorsport /Lucas Oils Top Fuel teams promotional tour was the Fast Show at Santa Pod raceway. This show caters for all types of modified cars from hot hatches to classics and from Porches to American muscle cars. On the track it featured drag racing demonstrations and a RWYB, in the pits there was a show and shine and a host of trade stands and displays.

After the constant rain of last season it was a welcome change to be greeted by sunshine and a very large crowd as we drove into the track. The pit area was full of all types of cars on display and also on display in a prime position was the Lucas Oils Top Fuel car. As is usual at our static displays many people stopped to look and talk to us as nothing attracts a crowd like a Top Fuel car! Many questions were patiently answered, even the bizarre ones such as "do you lock the steering before the race?" Many hero cards and Lucas Oil information leaflets were given away and everyone seemed to be having a great day out.
