4th July, 2008 - 13:00 - Qualifier #1
A great start to FIA round number two. Andy Carter runs a storing 4.76 at 497kmh to take the number one spot and set a new track record in the process!
5th July, 2008 - 11:00 - Morning Update
No betterment for the Lucas Oil team in qualifier 2, tyre shake and an early shut off. Urs Erbacher moved up to number 2 with a 4.91. Qualifier 3 is scheduled for 11am this morning.
5th July, 2008 - 18:00 - Qualifier #3
The tires went up in smoke at the hit... back to the drawing board for the Lucas Oil Team. Lex Joon moved up to number two with a 4.89.
6th July, 2008 - 15:00 - Afternoon Update
Round 1
Carter faced Joran Persaker in round one, a great pass from the Lucas Oil dragster, 0.83 to 60 foot and across the line in 4.79 seconds. Persaker ran well but 5.20 was not good enough.
Semi Final
Disapointment for the team, straight up in smoke off the line. Micke Kagered had trouble in the other lane too but crossed the line first, 6.32 to 8.81. Micke will face Lex Joon in the final.
